so taking out Tiger Stance, the few alternative non-elite IAS's besides frenzy to nerf a build that probably won't see the light of day outside of HB,RA,AB anyway? I don't know about you about you but the worse monks I've seen in HA/GvG never got spiked down by an SP IAS and all...and I've seen some shitty monks in my play time....

You obviously didn't see the last AT then, with 3 Japanese guilds finishing top 3, all 3 running assassins.

meh, do what you like, make tiger stance last for 0 if you have no strength. In fact do that to ever IAS skill in the strength line, except frenzy.

an assassin can get away with using frenzy. Its not like several people are suddenly targeting the sin at once if he can get away with "spiking before the other player has time to even react."

*utter silence*
I will, refresh your memory.
[skill]frenzy[/skill]
Also, assassins only have 70 armour, and lower maximum health because they wear dual weapons.

Frenzy is 100% always accompanied with a counter stance.
If your going to use frenzy without a cancel stance, then who cares if your 5-150 AL you should die >.>
The idea of leaving frenzy untouched so that even sin's can use it means the assassin now has 1 more thing to have his mind on. Just as a Frenzy warrior would.

They fixed zergrush without breaking anything. I give them that much. Although we did get what we asked for in a buff to meteor.

At the very least post something constructive when necroing a 21 month old thread. Yes irony.

Hurka durka durk.
Troll better please.
For those who don't get it, go back and read ensigns original post. If I were to rate Izzy on skill alone I'd say he is about the average rank 5 player - good enough to know what is broken but not good enough to know why.
Back when Ensign posted this it was mostly true for GvG and HA. Now the problem has bled over into Hero Battles and TA, with entire battles based solely on melee damage prevention and enabling because its the only real option ( excluding gimmicks ). Its basically stance monks and ways for melee to break through them.
The most recent buff just adds to the problem without fixing to the issue. A few buffs that will change little, but namely the nerf to bb sin. Was BB sin overpowered and needed to die ? Yes, but so are a plethora of other melee based builds. By nerfing bb and ignoring the problem at hand, all anet has really done is turn those players who were running bb into another WS derv or double/triple KD Warrior. Essentially whittling the game down more and more each update resulting in even less variety then when it was only factions and prophecies.
And then they buff Burning arrow ? Right...

Anyone can explain why a meteor or immulate buff could be useful?

Uh, because they give eles OPTIONS?????
you don't even know what a -1 second to a cast time that is basically 3 now (since meteor waits 1s to come out) does for options. Man, think of all the options eles have now. Damn.

Dear Izzy,
Problem statement: Shatterstone does too much damage for its energy cost compared to other Elementalist spells.
Proposed solution: nerf Shatterstone.
Intended effect: Elementalists find some other elite to use, leading to more variety + new builds.
Probable effect: Elementalists drop out of play entirely.
Please listen to Ensign. Thanks.
